On The Life

At 11.08pm (Japanese time) about 60km from Japan there was an earthquake of magnitude 7.1/7.3.

Japan is a nation accustomed to living with earthquakes. This, however, must always make us think about how sensitive our existence is on our planet.

I am very fascinated by our surroundings. I don't know how to explain what I think, but we live in a fantastic environment. Just to talk about our planet there are earthquakes, which are simple tectonic plate movements, which are necessary, because if there were not these movements it would mean that our planet would not be alive. There are volcanoes, which are also due to the life of our planet. There are the winds. There are so many things. Only on our planet, which is part of the solar system, which is part of a galaxy, which is part of other things that are part of the Universe.

Life is an extremely fantastic thing but also extremely sensitive. We take too much for granted. We put ourselves, the human being I mean, too high compared to what we really are. A consideration of our being so high that it obscures us and hides what we really are and is around us. If you were to ask me what we are I genuinely challenge anyone to explain to me what we are. More than to say a complex of particles with particular abilities I would not know what else to say. Because even this capacity for thought that we have, is not unique to us, I perceive it in any living being. I can say that it is very developed in us, but very developed does not mean unique, absolutely. And also the very developed. Based on what is it very developed? It is very developed based on what I know, which is not the Whole (il Tutto). And here we can talk about knowledge. In my opinion, a total knowledge (il Tutto) is not reachable by us but a partial knowledge is achievable by us (il tutto). Now I am not so much talking about this, but I think it is obvious that only what is perceptible to us is known to us.

So going back to the fact that it's not that simple to explain who we are, I find it equally quite complex to explain what's around us, which in theory is not so different from us.

In conclusion, Life is a beautiful, incredible and wonderful thing. It is the thing without which nothing would be known to us and possible without it. It really deserves the utmost respect that we can give. We have to love her. But above all we have to live it. Living Life is what should guide us every day because it is so beautiful that it is the most delicate thing there is.
